When Jordan was in 7th grade, he noticed that many African-American boys at his school were not taking their education seriously. Instead, they dreamed of becoming a professional athlete or a rapper.
After doing research, Jordan realized this problem wasn't limited to the boys at his school, it is a national crisis. With that information, Jordan made Say It Loud film. Jordan rounded up some of his friends' favorite celebrities and interviewed them for his docudrama.
Jordan's vision to create the film has turned into a national movement. Students of all races and genders have embraced Say It Loud and decided to stand up for education. Jordan's "School Is Cool" message is not limited to African-American boys, it is universal.
Now, Jordan encourages other youth to do something amazing that will make a positive impact in their community. Go out and do something to make a difference in the lives of others.
