Rodney Mack aka Ro Mack was an actor, Mt. Vernon, NY Firefighter and artist. He passed away on July 14, 2014 after a valiant battle with brain cancer. He got his acting break in 2010 when he auditioned for the leading role of Jazz Johnson in the feature film Payin' The Price. Ro Mack was handpicked by Director Jordan Coleman and Cinematographer Demond Ford. As a result of Ro's extraordinary acting talent, the film won several awards and Ro Mack was cast in several film projects.

He attended Mt. Vernon High School and Nelson Mandela High School. He was an outstanding athlete, loving son of Rodney Mack Sr. and Peaches Mack; amazing brother of Candice, Jordan, Jasmine and Ashley, the proud father of 4-year-old Zai-Lee Brooke Mack and loving partner of Elisha Danvers (Zai-Lee's mom).

Ro Mack was our hero; his infectious personality, kindness and zest for life is etched in our hearts forever. Though he is gone, he will never be forgotten.
